Did you still think wordpress is only a blog platform? Well, you were way behind than. These days you can use wordpress blog for anything you want. You can use it as a blog, site networking,  CMS and up to more complex thing such as building your online store and having your own affiliate program.

But why we have to chose wordpress to those things? There several recent for this. Here is a major recent that I can think of:

1.    Search engine loves it. You can easily get indexed by major search engine with a simple optimized. That means you cut your advertising budget and use natural traffic to drive potential buyer to your online store.
2.    Free of charge. Wordpress is an open source so you can use it as you like.
3.    easy to use. They have “one click install” so even a dummie in trechnincal can install a wordpress.
4.    A great support. Because it is an open source, every body develops wordpress. And by that every body willing to help you if you have any trouble with it and their extended such as plugin and themes. All you have to do is join the right forum!

Interested? So how can I build my own online store for free? You have to prepare your own domain name and your own hosting. You can pay for it or use a free service such as .co.cc and awardspace for the hosting company.

If you already have that, sit back, and I will continue on my next post!

But wordpress.com doesnt allow plugins, so I don’t know what you’re talking about. Only wordpress.org allows them, and you need to have more technocal knowledge to do that.
I’m not sure if you even know what you’re talking about.
